As one of his first official acts as the newly appointed commissioner of GBW: Maven Bentley was tasked with stripping G.uys B.eards W.restling of the GBW TAG TEAM Championships due to the sudden retirement of Sean Andrews. However, Maven feeling Erik C. Jones still had a claim to the titles gave him the opportunity to find himself a new tag team partner. Upon finding one both of them would be given a GBW TAG TEAM Title shot at 8 YEARS STRONG after new champions were determined at The BATTLE of HANOVER.
