3.The FAN reclaims the GBW BREAKER Title after brutal Dog Collar Match...

Ian Cross shocked all of GBW in 2006 when his master plan unfolded and he became the GBW BREAKER Champion. Following that, months of running and using the paid services of Murder Inc., Cross had placed himself in a corner. The FAN mentally and physically frustrated at winning his title back proposed only one option: A Dog Collar Match. Reluctantly Cross would agree and the match was signed, but no one knew the brutality that would come. It was night many will remember as both fans and wrestlers alike cringed as they watched both men go to extremes for championship gold. The sounds of steel change hitting flesh, watching each man try to choke the life out of each other, and not to mention the chain wrapped fists as a punching contest broke out. On March 31st, it was The FAN who would finally persevere, regaining the GBW BREAKER Title and ending months of torment brought on him by Cross

2.The National Treasures prove they are a threat...

American Doug came into 2007 by making a promise; some may say a threat, when he announced he was forming National Treasures Inc. and things would never be the same. The premise was simple, recruiting talented and under used wrestlers in GBW and making them the superstars Doug knew they were. First came Ronnie Wake, it wouldn't take long before the powerhouse soon became a recognizable threat to any championship. Next would come Jimmy Starz, the charismatic front man was broken away from The Varsity and given a shot to shine on his own, even being given a stolen BREAKER Title belt by American Doug himself. The so called "flash in a pan" theory unfortunately did not hold true as the trio managed to defeat prominent superstars Simon Ryme, The FAN, "Showtime" JT Roberts and CORE. The bigger story of it all maybe the fact that Doug is still recruiting, so friends may become enemies, enemies may become friends, and maybe a surprise or two still lies ahead.

1."The Icon" Blaine Barret becomes GBW WORLD Champion...

When Barret asked for a title shot last year he was met with one question: "What have you done to make an impact in GBW?" The rest now is history as "The Icon" set his goals on the top of the mountain like a freight train as he went through GBW talent. Finally gaining the attention of the GBW WORLD Champion: Derek Frazier and using his brains instead of brawn to make the match. The first of it's kind as the champion would have to defeat the challenger in 15 minutes or less, if unable to he would lose the title. Despite the tenacious nature of Derek Frazier, the combined antics of the ringside Travis D. as well as the efforts of Blaine Barret would change the reality of GBW. The clock would tick out as Derek Frazier knelt on the mat, witnessing Barret being awarded the championship before his eyes. The controversy still continues to this day, however the fact still remaining that "The Icon" is the GBW WORLD Champion and it may take alot more to get it away from him then what anyone has ever expected.
