August 28 , 2004 SNX Results

 

-Match 1: Yuriel Sinister vs. Matt Skills (w/Simon Ryme)

.winner: Yuriel Sinister with the "Sinister Burn" on Skills

Notes: Simon continually interfered throughout the match until knocked down by Sinister towards the end

 

-Match 2: J-Max vs. Scott Richards(w/ 3XS)

.winner: Scott Richards with the "Vice City Crash" for the pin

Notes: Simon and Skills were both ejected by security after attempting to enter the ring early in the match-up. Richards would actually take a cell phone call during the end of the match moving out of the way as J-Max hit the corner before he headed to the top rope

 

-JT Roberts would come out and cut an emotional promo on his life and how he was robbed of his Breaker Title which brought out Ian Cross who would bascially demean Roberts, even stating he was nothing without the title. After verbally assaulting eachother back & forth, Blaine Barret would come out telling Roberts he would get his rematch after Barret defeated Cross tonight and if he could beat Ronald Wake.

 

-Match 3: "Showtime" JT Roberts vs. Ronald Wake (w/ Khris Bishop)

winner: "Showtime" JT Roberts with the "Play of the Week" submission hold for the tap-out

Notes: Barret remained at ringside during the match getting in some cheap shots when Roberts was thrown outside the ring. Despite both Bishop & Barret's attempts JT got the win.

 

-Match 4: The Hardcore Mafia vs. The Ring Crew (w/ Ring Crew Mask)

winner: The Hardcore Mafia with a spiked "Money in the Bank" driver

Notes: The Mafia was not well liked through out the entire match by the crowd. Ring Crew Mask attempted a back rake on the outside on both the Mafia only to get a double t-bone suplex onto the hard floor

 

-Match 6: Ruckus vs. Travis D. (w/ The Prep Club)

winner: Ruckus via a small package reversal

Notes: Fast paced match with the Prep Club being little distraction. The Preps attacked Ruckus afterwards only to have Derek Frazier hit the ring and make the save knocking all the Preps out. Frazier made the challenge for September 18th, Team CZW vs. The Prep Club

...Intermission...

-Match 6: Dancin' Danny Rage vs. Buster Maccabi (w/ Apollo Cruz)

winner: Buster Maccabi with the "Buster-buster" for the pin

Notes: JC Ryder was absent from ringside due to unforseen reasons. Ronald Wake and Travis D. would storm the ring afterwards destroying both members of Xtreme Pandemonium and even Danny Rage. Maccabi would issue a challenge to the Preps for anytime, any place to get a title shot.

 

-Match 7: TLC- Mr. Excellent vs. CORE

winner: CORE with a "World Coming Down" powerbomb for the pin

Notes: Both men went to extreme limits with CORE being t-bone suplexed into table in the corner. Then CORE delivering his "Type O Legdrop" off the ladder in the ring to Mr. Excellent who was lying on a table on the outside. Both men would deliver chair shots to each other along with using the ladder to injure each other. Excellent was lated boarded up witha neck brace only to have CORE come back to ringside attacking the announcer and delivering another "Type O Legdrop" onto a chair placed on a helpless Excellent

 

-Match 8: GBW BREAKER TITLE MATCH - Ian Cross vs. "The Icon" Blaine Barret(c) (w/ Khris Bishop)

winner: "The Icon" Blaine Barret (c) with a "Prep-handle Bomb" for the pin

Notes: A match which was almost dominated by Cross nearly winning the title. Bishop would argue with the referee as JT Roberts would slip past security into the ring attempting to hit his "Remix Kick" on Barret who would move allowing it to hit Cross. Security would manage to restrain Roberts at the end as Cross looked on with disgust and hatred at Roberts

 

-MAIN EVENT: GBW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE- Simon Ryme (w/ 3XS) vs. "Mighty" Quinn Nash (c)

winner and new GBW Heavyweight Championship: Simon Ryme with a "Simon Cutter" for the pin

Notes: A solid match which saw all of 3XS get involved when they could to help Simon. Ryme would hit a "Simon Cutter" during the match only to have Quinn kick out.. The referee would get knocked down allowing Nash to hit the "ankle lock" as Simon would tapped out. Nash would later hit his "Reality Check" and count to 3 himself then moving as Richards would come off the top hitting his "Vice City Crash" accidentally on Simon. Nash would choose to jump to the outside onto 3XS then getting in the ring to receive the final "Simon Cutter"
