February 19 , 2005 - GBW Saturday Night Xtreme

-Match 1: Prince Malik vs. "The Icon" Blaine Barret (w/ Travis D.)

.winner:Blaine Barret with the "Barret Bomb " and the pin

Notes: Barret got on the mic earlier stating he would continue to injure innocent people until Debbie Bouch gave him back his Breaker Title. The distraction of Travis D would allow Barret to use the golf club on Malik followed by the "Barret Bomb" for the pin. Afterwards Barret would get on the mic threating Malik only to turn on Travis D. delivering a "Prep-handle Bomb" to him yelling that he wasn't prep anymore

Match 2 : The FAN vs. P.W.Apollo Cruz

winner: Apollo Cruz with the "Hangover" and the pin

Notes: The FAN would have the crowd hating him again as their "self professed leader" when he got on the mic before the match started. The FAN became fustrated several times in the match as the veteran Cruz often got the upper hand. In the end an irrate FAN would bring his chair and swing at Apollo only for it to hit the ropes and bounce back at him allowing Cruz to hit the hangover.

SIMON RYME Promo: The now unsuspended Simon would get on the mic stating how for 2 months he was denied his rematch and that he had to do something drastic to get it back. Ryme would list all of the causes that lead up to him having the title "stolen" from him. Simon would even dare CORE and him to wrestle now and not wait for the main event , prompting CORE to come out. Although 3XS ganged up on him, in the end CORE managed to clear the ring of all of them signalling to Simon for later.

-Match 3: Arkham vs. Ronald Wake

winner: Arkham with a roll-up pin

Notes: This was a classic match of size and strenght vs. speed and skill. Wake would continually show his physical power during the match almost crippling Arkham several times. Just as WAKE seemed to have it one his fellow Prep Club member Baline Barret would come down to ringside. The distraction of talking to Barret allowed Arkham to reverse out of Wakes hold and get a quick roll-up win.

-Match 4: Mr.Excellent/Ryan Phenix vs. 3XS

.winner: Mr. Excellent/Ryan Phenix after hitting the a senton followed by a "4:20 Splash" for the pin

Notes: This match was ordered by management after what 3XS did to CORE last month. Phenix and Excellent suprisingly worked very well against the veteran team of Richards/Skills. Later on in the match 3XS looked to put Excellent through a table they set up on the outside but with little success. Excellent would manage to "T-bone suplex" Skills out of the ring through the table allowing a double team on Richards.

-Match 5- TOTAL CHAOS ReMATCH : Ian Cross vs. "Showtime" JT Roberts

winner: Ian Cross via countout when Roberts walked out of the building during the match

Notes: A solid rematch that many fans had been waiting for ever since Ian's controversial win at TOTAL CHAOS. Roberts would actually hit his "Play of the Week" submission on Cross who refused to give up. Just as "Showtime" was about to deliver his "Remix Kick" Cross would begin shouting at him, blaming all of the problems that he has caused on retiring Quinn Nash. Ian would continue shouting more and more verbal assaults as JT would leave the ring. The Executive Director of Backlash Productions would confont Roberts at the entrance way, telling him to get back into the match. Eventually Roberts would push her out of the way walking right out the door to 34 Broadway.

...INTERMISSION...

-Match 6: Ruckus vs. Lucky

winner: Ruckus with a modified "Gory Bomb" and the pin

Notes: Lucky was matched moved for move in this match, often finding Ruckus reversing or escaping Lucky's moves. After hitting the "720' DDT" on Ruckus, Lucky oly got a two count. While both men were on the top rope Ruckus would hit a "tilt-o-whirl" slam on Lucky landing him right on the top turnbuckle. Ruckus would bring the CZW World Heavyweight Championship down to the ring with him.

-Match 7: GBW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE Match- The Security Team vs. The NJ Indy Allstars(c)

winner : NJ Indy Allstars with a "Jersey Shore Breaker" and the pin

Notes: This would be the third time that any part of these teams have wrestled each other in the past 2 months. Unfortunately Jersey continued to outwit Security often drawing Adams out of the corner allowing NJ to doubleteam Vertigo. Towards the end JC would accidentally push Adams into the referee knocking the ref down. This allowed Ryder to get the tag belt only to have it grabbed by Vertigo, and as he looked to hit Ryder with it he would duck and accidentally hit his tag partner Scott knocking him out. This allowed for the quick double team and a groggy referee to count for the win.

-Match 8: EWA Cruiserweight Title Match - Stevie Riggs vs .Derek Frazier(c) [w/ Jim Christian]

winner: Derek Frazier with a modified "Code Red" and grabbing the ropes for the pin

Notes: A recent partnership between GBW and EWA allows both companies to utilite each others champions and had booked for Frazier to defend his title. However, the owner of EWA: Jim Christian accompanied Frazier and stated this title defense was not authorized and wouldn't happen here tonight. Riggs controlled most of the match often chopping Derek back into the ropes and corner. The outside presence of Christian though cuaght Riggs off guard allowing Frazier to seize key opportunities.

EWA promo: Frazier would get on the mic calling out Ruckus, wanting to go "Title for Title" here tonight. Ruckus would answer only to have him turn around and help them assault Riggs altogether. This would bring out Excellent with a chair as both parties stood staring each other down. Excellent warned them this was GBW, not EWA or CZW which means they play by our rules or not. Christian would get back on the mic stating that Excellent was originally supposed to meet Xtreme Pandemonium in an EWA Tag Team Title Match on March 26, but that he's fired his tag partner. They in turn would choose his new partner to face XP, his new partner Simon Ryme.

-MAIN EVENT-GBW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH - BEST 2 out of 3 Falls: Simon Ryme [w/ 3XS] vs. CORE (c)

1st Fall: CORE disquallified after "Awesome Bombing" Simon to the outside through a table

2nd Fall: Simon Ryme disquallified after a "Cross-arm Powerbomb" with CORE onto two open chairs

winner and new GBW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Simon Ryme after CORE attacked Ian Cross & getting hit with the belt leading into a "Simon Cutter" for the pin

Notes: A definite qualifier for 2005 GBW Match of the Year as both men went all out in this contest. The action went back and forth as Simon tried to prove an equal to the monster CORE. During match Simon would call for Skills and Richards to set up a table on the outside in hopes of "Superplexing" CORE through it only to have CORE eventually put him through it. After the second DQ, Executive Director of Backlash Productions would get on the mic stating this match would not end like this and that the 3rd fall would go under NO DQ rules. The action would spill to the outside with Simon beating CORE al the way back to the t-shirt stand only for CORE to moonsault off of it onto Simon. After being dragged back to the ring, Simon would Reverse a "DVD" and end up "DVD"ing CORE through the ladder brought in. It followed with a "Simon Cutter", a kickout, a hit with the belt , and kickout. Both exhausted individuals would get up slowly as Ian Cross slid in the ring grabbing the championship belt, staring back and forth between the two men before CORE attacked him. CORE would attempt the "World Coming Down" Powerbomb on Cross only to be hit in the head with the title belt as a CORE walked into a final "Simon Cutter"
